*Darby Safari - Home to our Exotic Animals

 Schedule a Tour at Darby Safarif you would like an introduction to the exotic animals by a tour guide in an up-close private setting.   For an additional charge, you may choose from a list of animal encounters with your online scheduling including Capybara, Otter, Lemurs & More!

Darby Safari & Darby Acres Farm are two separate locations and are NOT at the same address. Your e-mail confirmation will contain the correct address of either Darby Acres Farm or Darby Safari, depending on the tour you purchase. Please do not google or use the internet to find the address for either location or you will end up at the wrong location.

 

You must open your e-mail confirmations for "The Rules, Policies & Address".

 

If you arrive at the farm for a safari tour, you will be late and likely miss your tour! If you are late, by not following these rules, you forfeit your tour without refund or reschedule.

Tickets must be purchased by 8pm the evening prior to a scheduled tour.

Darby Safari - Kit & Caboodle Walking Tour  

($100/person)

​

2 Hours - The "Kit & Caboodle" Walking Tour at Darby Safari is for those that would like to engage in the tour with the most animal interactions.  

Additional encounter tickets are not available for purchase with this ticket as all available encounters are already included in this tour including capybara & otter.

​

The safari has free range animals that may walk along with you on your tour and may include but are not limited to, Emu, Chicken, Roosters, Ducks, Geese, Paris the llapaca, and the Great Pyrenees guardian dogs, Hailey & Harper.  **Please do not feed or pet Hailey or Harper during the tour.**

 

(Please note: Not every animal will be able to be pet. Encounters & Interactions will vary on the daily temperament and mood of each animal; However, most animals will still be able to be seen up close.)

This tour is for those that follow directions well.  Youngsters and adults that are unable to stay with the group at all times or are unable to follow our feeding and petting directions may be asked to leave the tour, without a refund, if they are unable to follow instructions. 

Darby Safari - Safari Friends Walking Tour

(General Admission $20)

+ Add-on Encounters $$$

1 Hour – The “Safari Friends” Walking Tour at Darby Safari is for those that are interested in seeing the animals and purchasing an animal encounter with their ticket.

(Additional animal encounters purchased are approximately 15 minutes and will be after the tour.  The purchase of an animal encounter is only available with the purchase of a General Admission Ticket.)

 

The general admission ticket includes a guided tour, led by one of our knowledgeable tour guides.  They will provide information about exotic animals, their habitats, and behaviors. You will be given the opportunity to see up close:  zebra, porcupine, camel, kangaroo, wallaby, capybara, fennec fox, camel and more! *(Otters are currently only available for viewing with a purchased add-on otter encounter)

 

The safari has free range animals that may walk along with you on your tour and may include but are not limited to, Emu, Chicken, Roosters, Ducks, Geese, Paris the llapaca, and the Great Pyrenees guardian dogs, Hailey & Harper.

*Each animal encounter price is per person and is added on to the $20 General Admission price.  You can only purchase an animal encounter with a general admission ticket. 

Every participant must purchase a general admission ticket.

Darby Acres Farm - Farm Friends Walking Tour

 

(45 mins - 1 Hour) Walking tour of the petting farm.  Meet Rufus the Camel and pet the farm animals including cow, horse, llama, goat, pig, sheep, and more! Feed a majority of the farm animals on your tour. 

Adult (18yrs +) Includes (1) Feed Bucket:  $11

Child (10yrs - 17yrs) Includes (1) Feed Bucket:  $11

Child (12 Months - 9yrs) Includes (1) Feed Bucket:  $10

Child (12 Months - 9yrs) Does not include Fee Bucket:  $5

Child (0-11 Months):  No Charge

(1) Additional Feed Bucket:  $5

We recommend this tour for those that love farm animals and would like to pet and feed the animals!  

**NOTE: PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR A VISIT TO THE FARM AND/OR SAFARI **

Please keep in mind, when you are choosing your boots/foot attire and dressing yourself, and/or your children, that you are visiting animal grounds. It is recommended that you check current weather conditions to help properly prepare for your visit. Comfortable closed toe shoes (Please NO Flip-Flops), layered clothing, hats, sun block, water cooler, water bottles, and hand wipes are some of the items that you may want to consider when preparing for your visit. 

​

There are no sidewalks or ramps located on property.

Grounds consist of dirt, gravel, and mulched areas.  If there has been recent rain, it will likely be muddy or wet throughout the grounds. We recommend not wearing any attire that you are worried about getting dirty.

​

Grounds are not considered "Wheelchair Accessible"
