To allow for tour guides to stay on schedule, we kindly request that you do not arrive with additional guests that are not a part of your prepaid reservation.

Same day tour appointments are available on a limited basis. Check our website to see if a same day appointment is available. If a time slot say "SOLD OUT", additional slots will not be made available.

Darby Acres Farm & Darby Safari are NOT at the same address.

There is NO SMOKING, VAPING, ALCOHOL, GLASS CONTAINERS, OR OUTSIDE ANIMALS allowed on the farm grounds by visitors.

There is no food or drink sold on the property and no food or drinks allowed in the animal enclosures during encounters.

We kindly ask that you do not kiss, grab, hit, kick, etc. any of our animals.

There are free range animals at both of our properties, please keep that in mind when booking your tours as well. Free range animals may include ducks, geese, emus, llama, goat, sheep, dogs, etc.

IF YOU ARE TERRIFIED OF BIRDS THIS MAY NOT BE THE EXPERIENCE FOR YOU.

ALL tours are fully guided because our facilities offer a unique experience. You must be accompanied by a staff member at all times, you will not be able to "free-roam" either location.

Children ages 0-11 months are welcome at the FARM at no charge. Non-walking children, ages 0-2 years, that will remain in their stroller, wagon, carrier, etc., for the entire duration of the tour, are welcome at the SAFARI at no charge. If you purchase a safari ticket for a "Non-Walking" child (0 - 2 years), they must remain in their stroller, wagon, carrier, etc. for the duration of the tour. If you decide to let them walk on the tour, you will be asked to pay a regular admission price before leaving the property.

Please do not visit any area of the property, fencing or buildings, until you have been checked-in by your tour guide. ABSOLUTELY NO guest is allowed to walk the property unsupervised. We ask that you inform everyone in your group to stay with the group AT ALL TIMES and not wander away from your group.

This is for the safety of both the guests and animals.

**NOTE: PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR A VISIT TO THE FARM AND/OR SAFARI**

Please be aware that the farm tour takes place on a sloped trail. The grounds consist of dirt, gravel, and mulched areas and are not considered accessible for most wheelchairs. If bringing a stroller, we highly recommend only strollers that have "All-Terrain" wheels. There are no sidewalks or ramps located on property.

Please keep in mind, when you are choosing your boots/foot attire and dressing yourself, and/or your children, that you are visiting animal grounds. It is recommended that you check current weather conditions to help properly prepare for your visit. Comfortable closed toe shoes, layered clothing, hats, sun block, water cooler, full water bottles, and hand wipes are some of the items that you may want to consider when preparing for your visit.

We recommend not wearing any attire that you are worried about getting dirty. If there has been recent rain, it will likely be muddy or wet throughout the grounds so don't forget your rain boots!

*Cancellation / Rain Policy*

Should rain/inclement weather or any unforeseen circumstance arise, that would make for an unsafe environment, scheduled tours for the day will be canceled and you will be contacted by our scheduling department to reschedule a tour for another available date within the next 12 months. If the tour has begun and rain has started…The tour will continue. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Absolutely NO CASH REFUNDS/REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. The management of Darby Acres Farm & Darby Safari reserves the right to cancel a scheduled tour at any time. The cancellation policy may be varied at management’s discretion under special circumstances.

RESCHEDULING POLICY

PLEASE PUT CARE AND CONSIDERATION IN TO CHOOSING YOUR

TOUR DATE, TIME AND TOUR TYPE, AS MOST RESCHEDULING REQUESTS ARE DENIED.

We have a “NO REFUND POLICY” in place, as we are a small human family and team - feeding a LARGE animal family!

Every rescheduling request from a guest increases administrative fees, employees pay time and reduces the tour size without having time to replace those tickets, while taking away the available tickets for purchase for a future tour date.

A large amount of time, money, and effort goes into rescheduling every tour ticket which then means less resources to feed and care for all our animals!

Each request for a reschedule date is delivered to management and may be approved only under extenuating circumstances.  If your request is approved, a reschedule fee with be charged based on the following schedule:

RESCHEDULE FEE: (*LESS THAN 24 HOUR NOTICE) $25 PER TICKET

RESCHEDULE FEE: (*24-48 HOUR NOTICE) $20 PER TICKET

RESCHEDULE FEE: (*48-72 HOUR NOTICE) $15 PER TICKET

RESCHEDULE FEE: (*72+ HOUR NOTICE) $10 PER TICKET

Any cancellation of a rescheduled date, for any reason other than on behalf for inclement weather, will forfeit reservation and all tickets without a rescheduled date.

Darby Acres Farm and Darby Safari do not receive any outside funding. We rely solely on the wonderful people who schedule tours, traveling zoos, and their generous donations!

We thank you in advance for your understanding and we are so grateful for your support!
